A jewel of Longhu Mountain scenic area, Jiuqu Islet was designated as a National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site in 2004. Covering 600 mu, the tourist garden leans against Wuzhi Peak and faces Luxi River, adjacent to Hanpu Village in the east and Xue Family Stockade in the west. It is less than 3 kilometers away from Shangqing Ancient Town, and a bamboo raft ride downstream takes only 30 minutes.

Willows sway gracefully, bamboo groves stand tall, fruit trees send out fragrance all year round, and exotic flowers bloom in full splendor. Divided into five themed zones, namely Plank Road Integrity, Mulberry Branches in the East Corner, Peach Blossoms Beside Farmhouses, Charm of Pear Orchards and Spring Blossoms and Autumn Fruits, it is an ecological park integrating sightseeing, leisure and scientific research.
