Three-Day Classic Tour of Yancheng

Take the long-distance bus bound for Xinyanggang from Yancheng Bus Station and get off at the gate of Crane Paradise. The bus fare is 13 yuan and the journey lasts around 1.5 hours.

First view captive red-crowned cranes and grey cranes in the eco-tourism area, then walk into the core reserve to watch the crane flying show and admire the serene wetland views. You may spend the whole day here, stay overnight at the reserve and taste authentic seafood, or return to downtown for accommodation.

Take a long-distance bus to Dafeng Milu Nature Reserve (2.5 hours' ride) to observe wild milu deer. Head back to the city in the afternoon.

Enjoy a cultural tour on this day. Take Bus No.3, No.5 or No.29 to visit the New Fourth Army Memorial Hall, then proceed to Lu Xiufu Ancestral Hall, dedicated to the prime minister of the Southern Song Dynasty.

Have lunch at the downtown Food Street to sample authentic Yancheng dishes. If time permits, go shopping afterwards. Take Bus No.2 to Wenfeng Grand World or People's Shopping Mall. Yangwu Sausage is a highly recommended local purchase.
