Situated beside Luxian County seat. It is a National 2A Tourist Attraction and Provincial Scenic Area, with an altitude of 505–548 meters and a forest coverage of over 8,000 mu. The Jiuqu, Laixi, and Maxi rivers flow at its foot.
Major sites include Longnao Bridge, Ancient Yuchan Pass, the Refugees Relief, Mituo Temple, Longpan Temple, Baiyun Temple, and the Jinbaoshan Ancient Tombs, covering a planned area of 52.8 km².
The mountain is covered in strange rocks, many resembling toads (yuchan), hence the name. It is famed for the saying, "The whole mountain is like jade; every rock looks like a toad." Attractions like Chuanshan Gorge Stone, Da'er Wo, Flying Stone, and Immortal Cave are named after natural rock formations. The forest is home to over 240 tree species (including ginkgo, nanmu, and metasequoia) and more than 20 bird species.
