Jingpo Lake Scenic Area (5A, a must-visit)
It is the largest mountain barrier lake in China and the second largest in the world. The Diaoshuilou Waterfall serves as its core highlight (the frozen waterfall in winter is breathtaking). Visitors can take boat cruises on the lake and watch cliff diving performances.
China Snow Town (Shuangfeng Forest Farm)
Known as China Snow Town, it has a seven-month snow season with snowdrifts up to 2 meters deep. Its iconic scenery features snow-capped mushroom-shaped houses paired with red lanterns at night. Skiing and horse-drawn sledge rides are available here.
Volcanic Crater National Forest Park (Underground Forest)
A core zone of the Jingpo Lake Global Geopark, it encompasses seven volcanic craters and primeval forests. Tourists can descend to the bottom of the craters to witness the marvelous sight of "trees growing on rocks", as well as lava tunnels.
Hengdaohezi Siberian Tiger Park
The world’s largest breeding base for Siberian tigers, hailed as the "Hometown of Chinese Tigers". Visitors can observe tigers up close by vehicle and join feeding interactions, making it ideal for families and wildlife lovers.
Weihushan Film Studio
The on-location shooting site of Tracks in the Snowy Forest. It restores bandit-suppression villages and blockhouses from the story. Tourists can don military uniforms to immerse themselves in the plot and experience revolutionary red culture.
Hengdaohezi Russian-style Town

Sandaoguan National Forest Park
A natural oxygen bar on the outskirts of downtown Mudanjiang. It boasts dense forests, mountain streams and grotesque rock formations such as Camel Peak and Single Sky Crack. It is perfect for hiking in summer and snow viewing in winter.
