Huifeng Mending Meat Pie Restaurant can be traced back to the “Heyi Zhai Restaurant”, which was opened in 1927 as a classic Han-style snack bar and whose Mending meat pie, wheaten cake boiled in meat broth, fried sausage and spiced meat with original soup gained population across the city, especially the Mending meat pie witnessed a good sale. It was redecorated and put into operation in November 2015 with the name changed into “Huifeng Mending Meat Pie Restaurant”. And majority of characteristic snacks were still supplied in the restaurant. In addition to distinctive meat pie, the restaurant also has many other special dishes, like spiced meat with original soup, including spiced pork shoulder, spiced beef, sauced pettitoes and spiced marbled meat; and the wheaten cake boiled in meat broth is thin, transparent but not sticky, soft but yummy, and wins an increasing number of loyal fans
