Guang Yu Yuan is a time-honored traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) pharmacy boasts 500 hundred-year history. It provides herbal tea therapy, traditional Chinese medicine cultural salon, intangible cultural heritage exhibition and other services. Guang Yu Yuan TCM Museum is located in Qianmen Street, accessible by subway and bus, and has subway exchanges with Beijing South Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing North Railway Station and Capital International Airport. The museum is composed of six main exhibition areas, namely, the preface hall, the history and culture exhibition hall of traditional Chinese medicine, the Guan Yu Yuan history and culture exhibition hall, the processing corridor, the Shennong herbal specimen exhibition hall and the multimedia hall. It offers free guidance in Chinese and English. A visit takes about 0.5 hours to 1.5 hours. Visitors can visit the museum for free while they need to make a reservation one day in advance.
