Travel Guide from Guilin to Yangshuo
1. Shuttle Buses
Regular shuttle buses: Depart from the square in front of Guilin South Railway Station. The fare is 14 yuan per person, and the journey takes about 70 minutes. Buses leave every 15 minutes. They can stop on request, making them the best choice if you want to get off at Yangdi Intersection, Baisha and other stops.
Non-stop express buses: Depart from Guilin Bus Station, which is on Zhongshan Road just one stop away from the railway station. These buses run non-stop throughout the trip. The ticket costs 17 yuan per person, including a 2-yuan insurance fee.
2. Cruise Ships
You can take a Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. Tickets are easily available at major hotels and travel agencies across downtown Guilin. Cruises set sail between 9:00 and 10:00. The 5-hour voyage along the renowned "Golden Waterway" lets you enjoy the stunning scenery of the Hundred-Li Li River Gallery. The cruise finally docks at Longtoushan Pier in Yangshuo. 3. Taxis
A taxi ride from Guilin Airport to Yangshuo costs around 200 to 250 yuan. A trip from downtown Guilin to Yangshuo is approximately 150 yuan.
