Zizhuyuan Park is a comprehensive modern garden park with traditional style. The park is designed for nature, featuring pavilions, corridors with bamboo and flowers. The park provides beautiful scenery everywhere in all seasons.
Located in the northwest of the park, Zizhuyuan Palace was built by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty for his excursions to the western suburbs. It was one of the places where the emperor rested and ate on his cruise along the Changhe River at that time. Recently, many winter sweets have been blooming in the palace. When you get closer to appreciate, you can even smell the faint fragrance. The golden yellow petals wrapped around the stamens look vibrant against the blue sky.
