Brief Intro: The construction of Chenzhou Beihu Airport has started from January, 2019 and is scheduled to complete at the end of 2020. At that time, Chenzhou Airport will cover an area of about 1.99 square kilometers (0.73 square miles) with a terminal building of 6,000 square miles (7,175 square yards), a runway of 2.6 kilometers (1.6 miles), a vertical contact channel and 6 aircraft stands. Besides, logistics support area, comprehensive office area, living & service area and other basic facilities will be built. The Airport Avenue will be the only way to airport.
Location: Chenzhou Beihu Airport will be constructed in Tashui Village, Huatang Town, Beihu District, 17 kilometers (11 miles) to the west of Chenzhou City, Hunan Province.

How to Travel to Chenzhou Presently By Air?
The nearest airport to Chenzhou is Hengyang Nanyue Airport which is located in Yunjin Town, Hengnan County, Hengyang City. The airport is about 150 kilometers (93 miles) to Chenzhou and the way to Chenzhou are as follows.
By Coach
1. Airport – Hengyang Linghu Coach Station – Chenzhou
After arriving at Hengyang Airport, take bus line 203 to Yunshi Road at which transfer to bus line 143 to Linghu Coach Station. The journey takes 1 hour and 5 minutes and CNY 8/person.

By Railway
1. Airport – Hengyang Railway Station – Chenzhou Railway Station
To get to Hengyang Railway Station, you can take bus line 167 at the airport which will pass 29 stations to arrive at the destination directly. You will spend about 55 minutes and CNY 3/person.
Timetable: There are 1 to 6 trains from 21:50 to 16:00 next day each hour.
Ticket Fare: CNY 23.5/person for hard seats and passengers with standing-room-only tickets, CNY 69.5/person for hard sleeper, CNY 104.5/person for soft sleeper.

2. Airport – Hengyang East Railway Station: High Speed Train Station – Chenzhou West Railway Station
Bus line 203 can arrive at East Railway Station directly, please remember to get off at Wangjiang Coach Station. You need pay CNY 5/person and spend about 1 hour.
Timetable: There are 3 to 8 trains from 08:00 to 22:00 each hour and one in 06:55.
Ticket Fare: CNY 69.5/person for second class seat, CNY 114.5/person for first class seat, CNY 221.5/person for business cabin and state cabin.
