Jingyun Park is situated in southwest corner of the Dashilan of Xicheng District, to the west of the Former Residence of Ji Xiaolan and the north of West Zhushikou Street. Historically, this place belonged to the west lateral court of Ji Xiaolan residence. The four major Hui combos have entered into Beijing successively since the 55th year of Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, and all of them set the residences around the Dashilan, making it the birthplace of Peking Opera. The historical content is taken into the design of the park, and the cultural element of Ji Xiaolan residence is brought into the park, which forms the backyard garden of Ji Xiaolan residence and decorates the cultural content of Peking Opera, building the park a petty street garden with traditional garden style.
