Shengquan Mountain Scenic Spot is 6 kilometers away from downtown of Huairou District. Covering an area of 5 square kilometers, it is adjacent to the centuries-old Hongluo Temple in the east and faces the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall in the west. It sits in front of the majestic Yanshan Mountain and behind the beautiful Huaisha River. As a quiet and beautiful wonderland, it incorporates natural and cultural landscapes.
Shengquan Mountain Scenic Spot enjoys dynamic and static features. You can sit in the mountains, looking into the distance with doing nothing in a daze; you can enjoy almond flowers in spring, listen birds and cicadas chirping in summer or appreciate red leaves in autumn; you can also ring the bell in the Drum and Bell Towers and take ropeway to play with goldfish at the foot of the mountain.
