Qinglong Gorge is located at the 20km north of Huairou District in Beijing City and 75km from Sanyuanqiao. It is a natural scenic spot integrated with green mountains, clean water and ancient Great Wall. Qinglong Gorge enjoys a long history and the cool and pleasant climate throughout the year. Benefited from its unique geography in mountain areas, pure water running around marvelous peaks and steep mountains, the gorge brings up a unique climate featuring windy and rainy with an annual precipitation of about 800mm.
Featured Attractions:The scenic area covers a 150-hectare area, about 5 km from the south to the north, and is divided by a majestic reservoir dam divides it into two parts. The northern part is a lake offers tourists options of boating or speedboating with beautiful scenic views. In the east bank there are sporting items of bungee, rock climbing, prompt drop and others. Outside the dam is a tranquil stream on which tourists can row boats and bamboo rafts. There are majestic mountains with lush vegetation on both sides of the canyon. On the top of the mountain there is the well-preserved ancient Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty which attracts throngs of visitors.
