Wudalianchi Scenic Area
Wudalianchi Scenic Area mainly consists of the Wudalianchi lake cluster, surrounding volcanic geological landscapes, related cultural relics, vegetation and water scenery.
Between 1719 and 1721, volcanic lava blocked the course of the Baihe River, forming five interconnected lakes. The bead-shaped lake group comprises Lianhua Lake, Yanshan Lake, Bailong Lake, Heming Lake and Ruyi Lake, hence the name Wudalianchi (Five Connected Lakes).

Shankou Lake Scenic Area
Shankou Lake Scenic Area lies in Wudalianchi City, on the upper reaches of the Nemur River. It is 65 kilometres away from the national-level Wudalianchi Scenic Area. It borders Harbin, the provincial capital, to the south and Heihe, Heilongjiang’s largest port city, to the north, boasting a superior geographical location and well-preserved natural ecology.
Located 50 kilometres from downtown Wudalianchi, it covers a total area of 342.7 square kilometres and ranks as a uniquely charming tourist resort in Heilongjiang Province.
Centered on natural landscapes, Shankou Lake Tourist Zone is divided into eight scenic sub-areas including a water recreation zone, aquatic maze and waterfowl sanctuary, making it an ideal spot for wild swimming and river rafting. Natural landmarks scatter along both banks, such as Stone Ape Mountain, Carefree Stone, Bashful Stone, Golden Turtle Island and Fort Island. More than one hundred species of birds inhabit the area, including mandarin ducks, red-crowned cranes, grey cranes, wild geese and Chinese mergansers, alongside large populations of wild boar, sika deer and other wild animals.

Transportation: The scenic area is 22 kilometres from National Highway 202 and Erlongshantun Railway Station, accessible via a Class III asphalt road with highly convenient transport links.
Woniu Lake Scenic Area
Built around the Woniu Lake Reservoir, Woniu Lake Scenic Area integrates multiple functions including power generation, aquaculture, tourism and flood control. Its watershed spans 285 square kilometres, with 7,200 mu of water surface for fish farming. It was designated a provincial-level scenic area by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government in 1994.
Endowed with picturesque surroundings, convenient transport and thick snow cover in winter, it serves as an outstanding natural ice and snow resort.
Situated 14 kilometres from downtown Heihe at the 16-kilometre marker of the Heihe-Hulunbuir Highway, the scenic area covers 50 square kilometres and faces Blagoveshchensk of Russia across the river. The lake features green mountains and clear waters in summer, and a snow-blanketed silver landscape in winter. It delivers comprehensive tourism services for sightseeing, summer getaways, vacations, entertainment and local delicacies. The scenic zone blends Sino-Russian customs and unites natural and cultural landscapes with distinctive local features, enjoying considerable fame and appeal at home and abroad.
