Qianling Mausoleum
Located on Liangshan Mountain, 6 kilometers north of Qian County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, Qianling is one of the Eighteen Tang Imperial Mausoleums in the Guanzhong area. Its layout follows the architectural style of Chang'an, the Tang imperial capital.
Uniquely in China and across the world, it is a joint mausoleum for two monarchs and an imperial couple: Li Zhi, Emperor Gaozong — the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty, and Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history.

Tomb of Yang Guifei

This is actually a cenotaph built for Yang Guifei, situated 500 meters west of Mazai Town, Xingping City, Xianyang, around 60 kilometers away from Xi'an.
The mausoleum features an exquisite layout. An antique-style three-bay sacrificial hall stands right at the entrance, leading straight to the tomb mound. The hemispherical mound is 3 meters high and fully paved with blue bricks. Behind the tomb stands a roughly 6-meter-tall marble statue of Yang Guifei.
Countless literary works through the ages tell the romantic story of Emperor Minghuang and Yang Guifei, making the tomb world-famous. Inscriptions and poems by ancient scholars and poets are carved on the surrounding walls.

Yangling Mausoleum Museum
Nestled on the bank of the Wei River in the northern suburbs of Xi'an, the museum is built around Yangling, the joint mausoleum of Emperor Jing of the Western Han Dynasty and Empress Wang. It is a large cultural and tourist resort that perfectly integrates modern technology with ancient civilization, as well as history, culture and garden landscapes. It ranks as China's largest museum in terms of land area.

Maoling Museum

Perched on the Wuling Plateau between Xianyang and Xingping in Shaanxi Province, around 40 kilometers from Xi'an, Maoling Museum is a thematic museum dedicated to the Western Han Dynasty. It combines cultural relics, ancient architectures and classical gardens, and is the earliest institution in China for the on-site protection and management of Western Han historical relics and imperial tombs.
The museum gains fame at home and abroad for housing the Mausoleum of Emperor Wu of Han, the Tomb of Huo Qubing and a large group of ancient stone carvings.

- Board the special tourist bus at Yuxiangmen Bus Station in Xi'an for a direct ride.
- Take the coach from Xi'an West Coach Station to Xingping, get off at Fujiaqiao Stop, then transfer to Bus No.11 to reach the museum.
Tomb of Princess Yongtai
This is an earthen mound tomb with a brick-lined underground chamber, consisting of a tomb passage, tunnels, courtyards, corridors and the main burial chamber.
The tomb passage is a slope about 2 meters wide. Further inside lie narrow tunnels flanked by six small niches, which hold painted pottery figurines, equestrian statues, tri-color glazed horses and various ceramic wares. These burial objects feature vivid shapes and exquisite craftsmanship.
Colorful murals run along the passage all the way to the chamber, depicting imperial processions, astronomical charts, palace maids and more. Of particular note is a stone sarcophagus inside the chamber, carved with 15 delicate paintings of court ladies — a rare masterpiece of ancient art.
