Drive along National Highway G2 into downtown Linyi. Visit China Linyi Small Commodity City first. Then head along Riverside Avenue to tour the picturesque Riverside Scenic Area, admiring the urban ecological landscape where "the river winds through the city and the city stretches along the river banks". Explore the venue of the Shandong Provincial Garden Expo afterwards. Next, pay a visit to the Former Residence of Wang Xizhi to soak in the profound calligraphic charm of the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy, followed by a trip to Yinqueshan Han Bamboo Slips Museum to experience time-honored military culture.

Proceed along Riverside Avenue to Hedong International Film Studio and explore its flood disaster simulation zone, mountain village rainy street, Yishui custom zone and other themed areas. Then drive back along Riverside Avenue to Guantang Hot Spring (International) Resort of Shandong to relax body and soul with millennium-old hot spring baths.

Take Provincial Highway S342 to Junan County, then drive 20 kilometers north along the West Outer Ring Road to Dadian Town. Tour the former site of the Headquarters of the 115th Division of the Eighth Route Army and the former Shandong Provincial Government to immerse yourself in red revolutionary culture. Afterwards, drive about 9 kilometers east along Wenchang Road to Tianma Island Scenic Area to enjoy stunning lake and mountain views as well as fairyland-like landscapes. Stay overnight in Junan County.

Travel 30.1 kilometers along Rizhao-Lankao Expressway and exit at the Linyi/Yinan/Yishui interchange. Take Provincial Highway S227 then transfer to S229, and drive roughly 5.1 kilometers along Lutong Line to reach Zhuquan Village Scenic Area, where you can experience a rare peach blossom spring-style rural lifestyle unique to northern China and authentic Yimeng farmhouse customs. Drive 8 kilometers north along the tourist road to Yinan Red Hometown Tourist Area (Yimeng Red Movie Base), learn about the touching stories of the heroic Red Wives and feel the warm human sentiment of Yimeng. Continue along Provincial Highway S336 to Zhisheng Hot Spring Resort to appreciate Zhuge Liang culture and enjoy the wellness benefits of hot spring therapy.

Take Provincial Highway S229 then switch to S335 to arrive at Tianshang King City Scenic Area. Wander around the ancient Spring and Autumn city and the cliffside village of Tianshang Renjia, and take part in the First Quanzhuang Picking Festival if available. Transfer from S335 to S229 to reach Underground Grand Canyon Scenic Area and experience China’s longest cave drifting. Enjoy various adventure and entertainment attractions including the magic gravity house, bottomless abyss, time tunnel, starry sky walk, terrifying underground cavern, rolling log rock slide and dynamic mirror maze.

Drive along S229 then transfer to S227 to Snow Mountain Rainbow Valley Scenic Area, visiting Happy Valley, Lovers’ Valley, Field Battle Valley and other zones while watching the spectacular rainbow over Snow Mountain. Take Provincial Highway S236 then switch to S335 to cross the lake bridge, and transfer to S234 to reach Yunmeng Scenic Area of Mengshan Mountain.

Travel 2.0 kilometers along National Highway G205, pass Quanqiao Village, and arrive at Menglianggu Scenic Area.
