Trace Canal Heritage Along the Full Length of the Shandong Grand Canal
This route features ancient-site exploration across six cities along the Shandong Grand Canal: Dezhou, Liaocheng, Jinan, Tai’an, Jining and Zaozhuang.

Seven key stops covering multiple destinations:
- Dezhou: Tomb of the King of Sulu, Solar Energy Theme Park
- Linqing: Sarira Pagoda, Aotouji Jetty, Linqing Canal Tax Station
- Downtown Liaocheng: Canal Museum, Dongchang Lake, Shan-Shaan Guild Hall, Shuicheng Pearl Grand Theatre, Guangyue Tower
- Jinan: Baotu Spring, Five-Dragon Pool, Daming Lake, Furong Street, Quancheng Square, Black Tiger Spring
- Tai’an: Mount Tai
- Downtown Jining: 16 Landscape Bridges, Taibai Tower, East Grand Mosque, North Lake
- Qufu: Three Confucian Sites (Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion, Confucius Cemetery)

Major Festival Activities
(1) Chinese Hundred Arts Week at Taierzhuang Ancient City
Taierzhuang Ancient City is a city steeped in culture. Hundreds of temples, exhibition halls, traditional trades and folk art venues serve as cultural spaces that embody the unique charm of the ancient canal town. The so-called "Hundred Arts" cover a wide range of intangible cultural heritage items and folk performances. The grand display of these arts is a permanent incarnation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, all varieties of folk arts converge here to build the brand of "Chinese Hundred Arts" of Taierzhuang Ancient City.
- Mid-Autumn Festival: A large-scale cultural gala titled "Under the Same Moon We Share, All Chinese Are One Family", with joint performances by celebrities from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.
- National Day: A grand theatrical performance "Love Our Motherland, Carnival of Hundred Arts", presenting a spectacular feast of traditional folk arts.

(3) "Joyful Liaocheng · Autumn of the Water City" Leisure Week (September 30 – October 7)
In line with the tradition of appreciating the mid-autumn moon, a series of leisure activities will be held: night boat cruises on Dongchang Lake; moon-viewing tea parties for family reunion blessings; and releasing floating wish lanterns on Dongchang Lake under the bright moon and starry sky.
