Chuzhou Has So Many Peach Blossom Paradises — Let’s Explore Them All!
The 2017 Chuzhou Peach Blossom Festival set up two venues in Quanjiao County: the main venue at Dashu Longshan and the sub-venue for the Meihualong Peach Blossom Festival in Erlangkou Town. Besides these two sites, annual peach blossom celebrations were also held across other areas of Quanjiao County simultaneously.

Quanjiao is the birthplace of China’s peach culture. The peach blossoms are most flourishing in Chengjiashi of Erlangkou and Dashu Longshan. The peach orchards around Meihualong in Chengjiashi alone cover nearly 10,000 mu. Dashu Longshan has also seen rapid development with a wider variety of peach tree cultivars.
The launching ceremony of the 2017 Peach Blossom Festival took place at the two venues in Quanjiao: the main venue hosted the 2nd "Peach Blossom Fate" Carnival at Dashu Longshan, while the sub-venue held the Meihualong Peach Blossom Festival in Erlangkou Town.
(1) Main Venue: 2nd "Peach Blossom Fate" Carnival at Dashu Longshan
Every March and April, ten thousand mu of peach trees burst into full bloom, creating a genuine earthly paradise of peach blossoms. Viewed from afar, the blossoms form a stretch of crimson clouds; up close, countless rosy flower clusters glow amid mist and sunlight, bright, graceful and fragrant.

(2) 2017 Zhangshan Township Peach Blossom Festival
"A long green mountain stretches like jade; ten thousand mu of peach trees blush with pink blooms." Boasting a peach orchard spanning ten thousand mu with a cultivation history of thousands of years, Zhangshan Township is one of the birthplaces of Chinese peach culture. Apart from the breathtaking sea of peach blossoms, visitors can enjoy local traditional folk arts unique to Lai’an, including Hongshan Opera and Hand Lion Lantern Dance.

Hefei Ring Expressway → Shanghai-Xi’an Expressway (Nanjing/Chuzhou direction) → Nanjing-Luoyang Expressway → West Yu’an Road → Lai’an Avenue → Provincial Highway S312 → Turn left and drive 3.2 km to reach Yangshan Village
From Nanjing:
Nanjing-Luoyang Expressway → Take the front-right ramp onto West Yu’an Road → Provincial Highway S312 → Turn left to reach Yangshan Village
(3) 2017 Zhangguang Peach Blossoms, Nanqiao District
Home to Chuzhou’s largest peach orchard, Zhangguang Town enjoys a unique natural advantage: all peach trees grow on maifan stone, an ancient medicinal mineral beneficial to human health.
The peach blossoms here reach their peak beauty from mid-March to around April 10. Blossoms cluster thickly and bloom one after another, stunning every visitor.

(4) 2017 Jianxi Peach Blossom Festival, Mingguang
"Of all the scenes in the third lunar month on earth, Jianxi’s peach blossoms stand unrivaled" — such is the high praise for Jianxi’s peach blossoms. Branches heavy with soft crimson flowers glow warmly in the spring sunshine. The blossoms of Jianxi exude gentle, tender charm.
Besides admiring the mesmerizing peach blossoms, visitors can buy local specialties of Jianxi, including Ming mung beans, Qingming mountain free-range eggs, mung bean cakes and Zhouying vermicelli.

(5) Peach Blossoms at Langxiang Migu Valley (Ticketed Scenic Area), Fengyang
Langxiang Migu Valley combines the delicate elegance of Huangshan Mountain and the precipitous grandeur of Huashan Mountain. The peach blossoms on the mountain top bloom relatively late. A trip here lets you appreciate both the peach blossoms and the valley’s fantastic rock formations — two wonderful experiences in one visit.

(6) Jiepai Peach Blossoms, Dingyuan (Ticketed Scenic Area)
"When spring arrives in Jiepai, peach blossoms match visitors’ glowing cheeks." Thousands of mu of peach orchards fill the air with the sweet scent of pink blossoms. Under bright sunshine, visitors wander through the flower sea and forget all worries.
