A host of renowned local products are widely famous: wild vanilla and gynostemma pentaphyllum from Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County, sanhua plums and longan from Wuxuan County, honeysuckle and squabs from Xincheng County, as well as pueraria root from Xiangzhou County. Currently, the city's forest coverage rate reaches 43.4%. Jinxiu is known as the Hometown of Star Anise in China and also home to Guangxi's largest water conservation forest reserve.

Silver Tip Tea Appraised by the Tea Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of China, this tea features plump and tender buds covered with fine white hairs.
