Local Delicacies of Laibin
Kumquat
As a traditional specialty fruit of Rong'an in Laibin, kumquat is praised as the "Fruit of Longevity". Liuzhou kumquats are oval-shaped with glossy golden-yellow skin covered in tiny dense oil glands. The peel gives off a sweet fragrance and the flesh tastes sweet. Rich in sugar, organic acid, vitamin C and other essential nutrients, it helps relieve flatulence and phlegm, quench thirst and promote saliva production.

Shiitake mushrooms are mainly produced in Sanjiang.
Giant Ginger

Pomfret
Laibin pomfret has tender flesh with a flavor similar to mullet and abundant nutrients. The fish has a flat, disc-shaped body with a thick back, no barbels, silvery scales, a black tail and thread-like fins for easy identification.
