One-Day Tour Itinerary for Danxia Mountain | Can Danxia Mountain Be Covered in One Day?

Yes, you can finish touring Danxia Mountain within a single day. The scenic area is divided into two major parts. A cable car is available to reach the Elder Peak Scenic Area, and shuttle buses run between the two zones. A one-day visit is totally feasible. We recommend catching the sunrise at Elder Peak and the sunset at Ximei Village.

A one-day schedule is rather tight, so please start your tour of Elder Peak before 8:30 a.m.

Hiking Entrance → Mid-mountain Pavilion → Giant Red Cliff of Jinshi Rock → Biechuan Temple → Precious Pearl Peak → Sunrise Viewing Pavilion → One-Line Sky → Yin Yuan Stone → Flying Dragon Lake → Return to the Hiking Entrance
