7. Huping Mountain
Situated in Shimen County on the northwestern border of Hunan, Huping Mountain is the second highest peak in the province. Its terrain is high around the edges and low in the center, resembling the mouth of a jar, hence the name Huping (Jar Mouth) Mountain.
The summit is the perfect spot to watch sunrise and sea of clouds. On clear days, an endless silvery sea of clouds stretches as far as the eye can see, just like a celestial realm.

Tianmen Mountain is the earliest recorded famous mountain in Zhangjiajie. Standing 1,518.6 meters above sea level, it rises majestically on the outskirts of Zhangjiajie, merely 8 kilometers from the downtown area, like a natural painted screen for the city.

10. Ling Peak
