How to Get to Wudang Tai Chi Lake in Shiyan?

For centuries, there has been a well-known description of Wudang Mountain: "Seventy-two peaks bow to the main summit, and twenty-four streams flow endlessly".
In terms of mountains, Wudang Mountain stretches high up to the celestial pivot and reaches down to the terrestrial axis, long admired by emperors and literati throughout history.
In terms of waters, Wudang Mountain is home to the magnificent Tai Chi Lake, the largest man-made lake in Asia.
Surrounded by rolling mountains, it enjoys pleasant weather, fresh air, abundant sunshine and crystal-clear water.
Vast blue ripples blend with the sky, and the picturesque landscape features green hills and clear waters.
Cruise along the endless lake and wander in this aquatic fairyland.
Committed to the vision of "creating harmonious life experiences" and the mission of "building an internationally famous water recreation brand", Tai Chi Lake Water Tours has carefully designed more than ten high-quality water routes.
It will successively develop 5A-level scenic spots including Songling Scenic Area, Carnival Island, Immortal-seeking Island and Carefree Island.
Tourists may choose to travel up the mountain by water for pilgrimage, or row boats on the blue waves, rest on the lakeside islets listening to the lapping waves, and enjoy the unrestrained leisure of immortals.

Bus Routes

If travelling by coach, you will first arrive in Shiyan City. The ride from Wuhan to Shiyan takes about four to five hours.
An expressway connects Shiyan to Wudang Mountain Town, covering the whole journey in just 30 minutes, while the national highway takes one hour.
National Highway 316 (Hankou-Shiyan Highway) and National Highway 209 run through the urban area of Wudang Mountain.
The Shiyan-Xiangfan section of the Hankou-Shiyan Expressway is open, with an exit and entrance in the Wudang Mountain Special Zone.
Shuttle buses run every ten minutes between Wudang Mountain and Shiyan, as well as between Wudang Mountain and Danjiangkou.
Buses to Xiangfan depart every thirty minutes.
Vehicles include Iveco vans, luxury coaches and sedans.
Long-distance buses are also available from Wudang Mountain to major cities across China
