Recommended Special Tour Route of Wudang Mountain

East Sheshan Park → Dragon Head Incense Burner → Langmei Ancestral Shrine → Golden Hall → Yellow Dragon Cave → Zixiao Palace

East Sheshan Park is located on the eastern peak of Sheshan Mountain, with an altitude of 72.4 meters and a total area of 850 mu. It is covered with lush woods and boasts the finest scenery among the nine peaks. The park features bamboo landscapes, bamboo constructions and unique bamboo sights, creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. There are 11 major scenic spots inside the park.

Beside the sheer cliff outside Wanshou Palace of Nanyan Palace lies a dragon-carved stone beam. It stretches out 2.9 meters in the air with a width of only 0.3 meters, engraved with a coiled dragon. According to legend, it was the imperial mount of Emperor Zhenwu, who often rode on it for inspections. An incense burner is carved at the tip of the dragon head, hence the name Dragon Head Incense Burner.

Situated on the path leading to the Golden Summit, this is the largest and best-preserved one among the sixteen shrines on Wudang Mountain.

Ticket Price: 20 RMB It stands on the top of Tianzhu Peak, the main summit of Wudang Mountain. Apart from the granite foundation, the entire building is cast in bronze and gilded with red gold, so it is called the Golden Hall.
