East Lake Park is located downstream of the county’s sewage treatment plant and built on the original No.13 Reservoir project. Designed in accordance with the natural terrain, the park intercepts urban rainwater and treated domestic sewage, forming a water surface covering 230,000 square meters.

The park is still under construction. It boasts lush green woods, sapphire-blue lake waters and swimming geese and ducks. With over 2,600 mu of green space planted with more than ten tree species, winding circular driveways and user-friendly sightseeing footpaths stretching along the lakeshore, the park serves as both a paradise for migratory birds and a popular leisure destination for locals.

Upon full completion, East Lake Park will realize comprehensive and efficient recycling of rainwater and domestic wastewater. It will also protect more than 1,000 mu of cultivated land and safeguard the lives and property of villages and residents downstream. The project improves water conservation capacity and the overall ecological environment, delivering a win-win outcome integrating ecological, social and economic benefits.
