Yingbin Park

Yingbin Park is a large ecological landscape park situated at the urban entrance and exit of Xinghe County along National Highway 110. It is currently one of the county’s largest public green leisure zones featuring classical garden aesthetics and distinctive local cultural characteristics. The total planned area of its east and west sections reaches 500,000 square meters.

Planning and design work for the project kicked off in February 2012, with construction commencing in April 2013. The original site was occupied by sewage ponds and waste landfills, which severely tarnished the city’s appearance.

Targeted micro-topography adjustments were carried out in accordance with the actual terrain conditions, involving a total earthwork volume of 480,000 cubic meters and 10,000 square meters of hard pavement. The greening scheme prioritizes native tree species adaptable to local climate, combining arbors, shrubs and flowering plants, as well as flat and three-dimensional planting techniques to create a pleasant natural scenery. Over 1,200 evergreen trees and 2,000 deciduous arbors have been planted, alongside 8,000 square meters of hedgerows and 30,000 square meters of ground cover vegetation.

The park boasts numerous scenic nodes including plazas, cascading water terraces, water curtains, dry fountains and the Moon View Pavilion. In particular, the water curtain landscape consists of five independent water walls, each standing 3.7 meters tall and 7.8 meters wide. The man-made "waterfall" design delivers a stunning visual effect of surging cascades shrouded in mist. Exquisitely arranged decorative lighting shimmers with dazzling colors, turning the whole waterscape into an elaborate work of art for visitors to admire.
