Former Site of the Headquarters of the 120th Division of the Eighth Route Army

The former site is located in Chengnei Village, Lancheng Town, Lan County, originally the Five-Dragon Temple. From October to December 1938, the 120th Division of the Eighth Route Army stationed in Chengnei Village, Lancheng Town, and set up its headquarters inside the Five-Dragon Temple. Senior leaders of the 120th Division including He Long, Guan Xiangying, Xiao Ke, Gan Siqi and Zhou Shidi once worked and lived here.

This former site is an important historical relic of the 120th Division and a precious heritage of China’s revolutionary history. It serves as an important base for inheriting and carrying forward the revolutionary traditions of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
