Hufang Township was named one of the "Top Ten Red Tourism Destinations in Jiangxi Province" this year. Taking this opportunity, the county raised more than 3 million yuan to renovate tourist sites including the Former Site of the Min-Zan Provincial Soviet Government, the Red Army Stage and the Tomb of Unknown Martyrs. It also restored the ancient city wall site related to the Red Army's Fifth Anti-Encirclement Campaign at Taoshang Village in Xiongcun Town on the border with Fujian Province. The county has accelerated renovation projects for the former battle sites of Xunkou and Tuancun, and launched the construction of a cluster of red tourism landmarks such as the Red Army Street, Red Army Square and Red Army Hotel, striving to build high-quality red tourism products.

During this year's National Day holiday, the area in front of the Red Army Stage in Hufang Township, Lichuan County, was packed with crowds filled with singing voices. Several middle-aged and elderly art troupes from the township and neighboring towns took turns putting on self-written shows themed on revolutionary traditions. Their wonderful performances won warm cheers from the tourists in the audience. Several visitors were eager to join in and took the stage voluntarily to sing songs, expressing their joy for the National Day celebration.

"My parents love operas. I heard that this Red Army Stage has been built here, and local residents often stage self-produced performances, so I brought the whole family here for a visit." Mr. Zhu from Shaowu City, Fujian Province, drove here early in the morning with his family. They first toured the Former Site of the Min-Zan Provincial Soviet Government and then stayed to watch the shows from the front row. Mr. Qu, a tourist from Lishui, Zhejiang Province, told the reporter happily: "Travelling here, I have not only enjoyed the unique mountains and rivers of Lichuan, but also received a profound education on revolutionary traditions.
