Yangshahu International Tourism Resort is located in the heart of the Yangtze River Middle Reach Urban Agglomeration under the Belt and Road Initiative as outlined in the national 13th Five-Year Plan. It is 60 kilometres away from Huanghua International Airport. Visitors can take water routes southward to Orange Isle and northward to Dongting Lake.

Covering an influence radius of nearly 800 kilometres, the resort boasts 26,000 mu of original mountain and lake landscapes, 10,000 mu of ecological water areas, more than 300 rare animal species, over 600 rare plant species, and more than 100 varieties of freshwater fish.

It integrates seven major tourism sectors: scenic sightseeing, eco-friendly residential living, business and leisure services, fitness and spiritual recreation, corporate team-building, family entertainment, and eco-agricultural popular science. The resort consists of multiple functional zones, including a water park, a luxury RV campground, an international lure fishing base, lakeside resorts, Yuyao Inn, a fishing market, and Yuyao Town.
