Mugua Bridge, also known as Red Army Bridge, stands east of Mugua Village in Dengyuantai Town. Its original construction date remains unknown. The present bridge was reconstructed in the 8th year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1869). It stretches 41.7 meters in total length with a width of 5 meters, classified as a five-arch equal-span covered wind-and-rain bridge supported by stone piers and covered with wooden corridors.

In December 1930, the 7th Corps of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, commanded by Deng Xiaoping and Zhang Yunyi, marched northward from Guangxi and passed over this bridge. On the stone cliffs at both ends of the bridgehead, they inscribed four regular-script characters with red clay: "Long Live Communism".
