Wufeng Mountain Forest Park

Wufeng Mountain Forest Park lies 2.5 kilometers east of the county seat, with an average altitude of 700 meters and its highest peak reaching 900 meters. Stretching ridges are covered with endless pine woods that stay lush green all year round. The forest echoes with chirping birds and blooms with vibrant wild flowers. Boasting 4,800 mu of natural pine forest, the park serves as a serene and beautiful natural oxygen bar.

Renowned for its picturesque natural scenery and distinctive cultural sights, Wufeng Mountain is listed as one of both the ancient and newly designated Eight Scenic Spots of Shiqian, known as "Five Peaks Standing Like a Screen". For generations, it has been an ideal retreat for local residents to relax and escape the summer heat.

The 4,800 mu forest spans three natural villages across Tangshan and Huaqiao Towns. Nestled deep in the woods are simple and tranquil rural houses. Wandering along the forest paths, you may catch glimpses of plain farmhouses half-hidden among trees, evoking a sense of stepping into a peaceful world apart from the mundane.

Leveraging the mountain’s unique landscapes and advantages, Shiqian County has invested over 500,000 yuan to build a leisure villa covering 1,200 square meters. Plans are also underway to construct a viewing tower, a pagoda and pavilions. These exquisite architectures will further beautify the park and offer visitors wonderful places for sightseeing and recreation.

Thanks to the completion of the mountain access road and continuous improvement of supporting facilities, Wufeng Mountain Forest Park has become a popular destination for tourists to unwind, beat the summer heat and keep fit in Shiqian.
