Peach Blossoms Smiling in the Spring Breeze
Spot 1: Peach Orchard Base in Lingtou Village, Xiadu Township, Liandu District (Genzhuyuan, Banling, Lingtou, Meitian)
Route: Downtown Lishui → Auxiliary National Highway 330 → Xiadu Township Government → Genzhuyuan, Banling, Lingtou and Meitian Village, around a 1-hour drive.
Highlights: As an old revolutionary base area, Xiadu Township boasts over 8,500 mu of peach orchards, known as the "Ten-thousand-mu Peach Garden". The largest contiguous expanse covers five villages: Genzhuyuan, Banling, Lingtou, Meitian and Zhoukeng. Additional planting bases are situated at Lukou and Meinong. There are 28 peach varieties including Yanhong, Yingqing and Wanmi, with blossoms expected to emerge around March 26. More than 50 farm stays operate in Lingtou and Meitian Villages, serving distinctive farmhouse cuisine for convenient meals.
Spot 2: Shuanghuang Peach Orchard Base (Huangfan, Yusan’gang and other villages)
Route: Drive along Auxiliary National Highway 330 to Huangfan, Yusan’gang and surrounding villages.
Highlights: Over 5,000 mu of peach trees will bloom in late March, forming a spectacular floral landscape at peak blossom time. The roadside highway is ideal for self-driving flower tours. Kuocang Leisure Villa in Yusan’gang Village, Liandu District, sits beside Auxiliary National Highway 330, merely a 10-minute drive from downtown. Spot 3: Zuoku Village, Huzhen Town, Jinyun County
Route: Jinyun City → Huzhen Town → Zuoku Village
Highlights: Around 3,000 mu of peach groves open for viewing. All access roads within the base are paved for easy transport. Visitors can enjoy folk performances such as the Steel Fork Dance while admiring blossoms. Nearby scenic spots include Yanmen and Small Dragon Pool, alongside multiple farm stays. Peach blossoms bloom at the end of March.
Spot 4: Yangmeiping Natural Village, Shangtian Village, Sandu Township, Songyang County
Route: Songyang County → Shangtian Village → Yangmeiping
Highlights: The journey offers stunning pastoral vistas of "Pastoral Songyang". This base features both peach and pear blossoms: 200 mu of peach trees and 300 mu of pear trees, flowering in late March. Dine at Songyang Commune Canteen. Contact numbers: 13757857028, 8940025.

Route: Songyang County → Youtian Village → Houwan Village
Highlights: Like Yangmeiping, this peach base also bears pear blossoms, with 200 mu of peach trees and 600 mu of pear trees. Dining is available at Songyang Commune Canteen.
Spot 6: Lizhuang Village, Sandu Township, Songyang County
Route: Songyang County → Lizhuang Village
Highlights: 500 mu of peach groves for flower appreciation.
Spot 7: Hongluo Mountain, Zhangdan Township, Qingtian County
Route: Qingtian County → Fushan (Hongluo Mountain of Zhangdan Township)
Highlights: Besides peach orchards, tea terraces stretch across the hills, alongside sites showcasing Taoist culture. Hongluo Mountain Villa and Fushan Mosque stand nearby. Blossoms arrive in late March.
Golden Seas of Rapeseed Flowers
Golden rapeseed blossoms glow like warm spring sunshine, dazzling the eyes and warming the heart. Large continuous rapeseed fields have grown scarce amid shrinking farmland, yet several scenic spots remain well worth visiting. Right now marks the peak flowering season, perfect for viewing.
Spot 1: Huangnan Village, Xiaomei Town, Longquan City
Route: Longquan City → Xiaomei Town → Huangnan Village
Highlights: A nearly contiguous 500-mu rapeseed landscape belt with supporting sightseeing facilities.
Spot 2: Xiandu Scenic Area, Jinyun County
Route: Jinyun County → Xiandu Scenic Area
Highlights: Over 1,000 mu of dense golden rapeseed flowers surround the scenic zone, creating layered views of scenery within scenery.
Spot 3: Shicang, Songyang County
Route: Downtown Lishui → Xiangxi Town, Songyang County → Gangkou Village → Dadongba Town → Shicang. Shicang lies more than 30 kilometers from Songyang County seat, reachable by direct shuttle buses.
Highlights: Rapeseed flowers scatter among clusters of ancient buildings across 500 to 700 mu. Though less densely planted, the scenery evokes the charm of Wuyuan in Jiangxi Province. Shicang Ancient Folk Residences are designated a Zhejiang Provincial Historical and Cultural Protected Area, featuring hundreds of mu of connected rapeseed fields. Blossoms are expected in early April, lasting over 20 days.
Spot 4: Liushan and surrounding villages, Zhengkeng Township, Jingning County
Route: Jingning County → Liushan, Zhengkeng Township
Highlights: Distinctive terraced rapeseed landscapes concentrated across over 200 mu.
Spot 5: Pingdu, Qingyuan County
Route: Qingyuan County → Pingdu
Highlights: Rapeseed planting forms part of Pingdu’s Beautiful Village initiative, covering more than 100 mu of contiguous fields.
Spot 6: Zhangcun, Qingtian County
Highlights: Around 700 mu of relatively concentrated rapeseed plots. An additional contiguous 100 mu grows near Qiyuan Mosque in Fushan Township.
Spot 7: Mountain Valleys along Yaxi Direction, Liandu District
Highlights: Close to downtown Lishui, the valley setting delivers unique tranquil floral scenery
