Three-Day Tour of Dabie Mountain Grottoes & Wanfo Lake (Route C2)

The group will be picked up at Lu’an Railway Station by coach or bullet train in the afternoon. Depending on the schedule, we will arrange a visit to either the Western Anhui Museum or the Dabie Mountain Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, followed by check-in at the hotel.

After breakfast, head to the Dabie Mountain Grottoes Scenic Area (approximately 40 minutes’ drive). Spend around 3.5 hours touring the site: wander through primeval ecological forests and golden nanmu woods, and explore the natural grand canyon known as the Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder. Admire hundreds-of-millions-year-old grotto clusters and one-of-a-kind geological wonders featuring fantastic peaks and secluded valleys crafted by nature. Listen to soothing Buddhist chants, visit the ancient royal temple, taste heavenly Buddha zen tea, and enjoy rustic farm delicacies. Walk along the landscape plank road to behold extraordinary natural sights shrouded in six unsolved mysteries.

After breakfast, visit Wanfo Lake Scenic Area for about 3 hours. Take a boat cruise to tour Wanfo Island, Golden Coast, Swallow Island, Huicui Forest and other islets. After lunch, we will head back, bringing this wonderful trip to a close.
