One-Day Tour: West Anhui Great Rift Valley & Peacock River Drifting

After meeting the group in Lu’an, we will head for the Great Rift Valley (Zhangdian Town, Lu’an, around a 2-hour drive). Upon arrival, hike through the West Anhui Great Rift Valley (roughly 90 minutes) to marvel at nature’s extraordinary craftsmanship. Visit scenic spots including Sky Crack, General’s Platform, Cave Palace (Biwang Rock), Clear Water Pool, Mushroom Rock, Three Gates, Echo Wall, Treasure Chamber, Sky Peeping Cliff, Heavenly Staircase and Majestic Rock. While experiencing the wonders of the rift valley, you will get a full-body workout and enjoy pure, unbridled relaxation.

After lunch, take the coach to Peacock River Drifting, located at the eastern gateway of the Dabie Mountains in Huoshan County, Anhui Province. The drifting fee of 180 RMB per person is at your own expense. The drifting route starts at the foot of Hualongjian Peak in the Dabie Mountains, stretching approximately 6.6 kilometers with a total drop of around 150 meters. Lofty rocky cliffs covered in lush green foliage line both sides of the winding river. The crystal-clear water alternates between swift rapids and gentle currents, offering both heart-pounding thrills and peaceful stretches where you can watch fish swimming and pick up smooth river stones. The perfect mix of excitement and tranquility delivers endless fun, making this a top-tier drifting waterway.

After the tour, we will drive back to Hefei, concluding this wonderful trip and sending you back to your cozy homes!
