Within downtown Wuzhou, take Bus No.18, 28 or 19 directly to the foot of Baiyun Mountain (the main gate).

Lying to the northeast of urban Wuzhou, Baiyun Mountain stretches toward the Five Ridges and embraces three major rivers. It rises abruptly within Wuzhou, winding and undulating with magnificent momentum. Standing atop the peak, visitors can overlook the entire city and distant landscapes in one sweeping view.

Tall ancient trees cover the mountain, often shrouded in morning mist. Right after rain clears up, pure white clouds drift and swirl around the slopes, turning lofty Baiyun Mountain into a green-clad maiden veiled in white mist and wrapped in soft cloud scarves.

The Tang Dynasty poet Meng Haoran wrote the line: "Far white clouds drift over Cangwu; mist-shrouded waters deepen by Dongting Lake." Qing Dynasty poet Li Shirui penned: "Thin morning dew fades as the sun rises; dusk smoke spreads like a curtain beneath the sinking sun."

As one of Wuzhou’s Eight Famous Sights, Baiyun Mountain is known as "Clear Mist over Cloud Ridge".

The park was officially established in 1981 and designated one of the first batch of autonomous regional-level scenic spots in 1988. A host of facilities have been built across the mountain, including Yunfeng Pavilion, Songyun Tower, Shuangqing Pavilion, Kite Platform, Mid-Mountain Pavilion, Autumn View Terrace, and the Pine Waves & Tiger Roar Sculpture. Down the mountain at Longquan Valley stand Dragon Roar Pavilion, Waterfall View Pavilion, Secluded Exploration Bridge, and the "Two Dragons Playing with a Pearl" relief carving.

Climb to Yunfeng Pavilion at the summit, and you will feel the grand sensation of all other mountains shrinking beneath you. Descending from Yunfeng Pavilion, a tree-lined path leads straight to Kite Pavilion.

On the eastern mid-slope of Baiyun Mountain lies the renowned "Tiger Head", a jagged, precipitous rock formation shaped exactly like a crouching fierce tiger. North of Kite Pavilion spreads a peach grove. When peach blossoms bloom in spring, crowds flock here to admire flowers and take photos, matching the poetic line "Human faces glow red amid peach blossoms". Birds occasionally flit out of the woods, their clear chirps echoing through the valleys.

Past the peach grove up the hillside sits Shuangqing Pavilion. Beneath it stands a vivid tiger sculpture roaring toward the vast pine forest, presenting a vivid scene of pine waves and tiger roars. The park teems with tourists on holidays. On the Double Ninth Festival, tens of thousands of visitors climb the mountain, filling the slopes with bustling crowds.

At the foot of Baiyun Mountain lies the Longquan Flying Waterfall. Backed by Cloud Ridge and facing the Xijiang River, the deep, serene valley is flanked by towering steep cliffs. Green vines sway in the cool air, mottled moss clings to rocks, and ferns hang down along the ravine. Mountain springs trickle through the gully; smooth cobblestones and small fish are visible beneath the clear water. Jagged stones scatter all over the stream bank, some resting beside springs, some leaning against the water’s edge, glossy and delicately shaped in countless forms. This matches the verse: "Paths wind through thick foliage; springs gurgle through creviced exotic rocks."

Winding streams flow out from the mountain’s inner ravine, heading straight toward Longzhou Rock before emptying into the Xijiang River.

From 1994 to 1996, Baiyun Mountain Park carried out large-scale forest transformation and landscaping projects. The original masson pine woodland was renovated into a diverse subtropical rainforest mixed with various arbors, shrubs and ornamental plants, showcasing distinct seasonal beauty: flourishing vitality in spring, lush splendor in summer, fiery red foliage in autumn, and evergreen greenery in winter.
