Unearthed artifacts dating from the Warring States Period through the Ming and Qing dynasties include bronze wares, iron wares, jade and stone artifacts, ceramics, gold and bronze items. Relics from the Han and Jin dynasties account for the majority of the collection.
Precious highlights consist of pottery cauldrons unearthed from the Western Han kiln site of Fumin Workshop, Eastern Han bronze rulers, bronze tables and bronze granaries, Western Jin celadon chicken-head ewers, Southern Dynasties celadon equestrian figurines, relics from the Northern Song Yuanfeng official mint workshop, as well as cultural relics excavated from the tomb of Prince Gui of the Ming Dynasty.
