Take Bus No.2 or No.3 and alight at Zhongshan Road Stop. Walk up past the North Mountain Archway to reach Xizhu Garden.

Located at Zhutou Ridge on Gangling Road in Wuzhou, Xizhu Hall is the largest modern Buddhist temple in Wuzhou. Constructed in 1933, the complex consists of six brick-and-timber buildings including a gate tower, Xizhu Hall, Guanyin Hall, Mahavira Hall and wing rooms, covering a land area of 10,000 square meters. It has been fully renovated in recent years.

Inside the Mahavira Hall stand statues of Sakyamuni, Amitabha Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Ksitigarbha and Guanyin Bodhisattva. The temple preserves the complete Buddhist Canon with 7,173 scrolls, alongside bronze tripods, bronze bells, bronze lantern towers and other antiques.

Distinguished monks once delivered sermons here, including Master Dengcheng from the Six Banyan Temple in Guangzhou, Master Juzan from Longhua Temple on Xishan Mountain in Guiping, and Dao’an from the Guangxi Buddhist Association. This temple serves as the main venue for Buddhist activities in Wuzhou.
