Scenic Introduction Tianti Mountain Tourist Zone is located in Dongniuzhuang Village west of Xingtai, 22 kilometres from the city centre, covering an area of 18 square kilometres. Bus No.7 runs straight to the site, offering very easy access.

The mountain rises abruptly with imposing steep cliffs, where more than a thousand stone steps stretch high toward the clouds. A cluster of ancient interconnected caves spreads across the mountainside, winding deep into the hills with endless twists and turns. The caves are full of stone flowers, stone waterfalls and stalactites shaped like humans and animals in countless fantastic forms. At the foot of the mountain lies Jinshui Cave with an underground river. Boating inside amid lamplight and ripples feels like wandering in a fairyland. Standing on Longevity Peak, the summit, visitors enjoy a panoramic view of encircling mountains, tidy villages, colourful farmlands and misty lakes, bringing great peace of mind. In the western part of the scenic area, Cold Wind Cave is unparalleled. Sword Gorge has sheer knife-cut cliffs, and Black Dragon Pool holds deep green water, brimming with wild natural charm.

This place is also the hometown of Niu Gao, a famous general who fought against the Jurchen invaders in ancient times. General Niu once defended the mountain by taking advantage of its precipitous terrain, and relics still remain on the hillside. Many touching folk tales have been passed down from generation to generation.

All 54 scenic spots are breathtaking, and all 36 caves are uniquely magical. You can go mountain climbing, wade in water, fish, take boat trips, carry out archaeological excavations and conduct scientific research here. It is a precious suburban scenic park on the western outskirts of Xingtai.
