Take a bus at Laiwu West Passenger Transport Station. Buses depart every 30 minutes during 6:00–11:00 and 13:00–17:00 every day. The fare is 6 RMB, and the ride takes one hour to arrive.

Located 40 kilometers northwest of Laiwu City, Black Dragon Pond Tourist Area serves as the entrance to the Nine Dragons Grand Canyon and Nine Heavens Grand Canyon. Its well-known landmarks include Black Dragon Pond and Sky-supporting Cliff.

The water of Black Dragon Pond is deep, dark green and crystal clear like jade. In spring and autumn, if you stand by the pond at noon and look up at the clear sky, a bright star can be seen shimmering above the water. This marvelous sight, known as "Star Appearing over Dragon Pond", ranks among the Eight Ancient Scenic Wonders of Laiwu.

Sky-supporting Cliff beside the pond juts straight toward the clouds, with precipitous slopes almost impossible to climb. Due to variations in rock hues and light and shadow, natural mural patterns take shape on the cliff face, such as "Black Dragon Roaring at the Sky", "Jade Hare Gazing at the Pond" and "Cosmic Star Map". These lifelike rock formations spark boundless imagination, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the miraculous craftsmanship of nature.
