Location: 25 kilometers southwest of Yanshan County. It is the historic starting place of Xu Fu's voyage to Japan.

Qiantong City is situated 25 kilometers southwest of Yanshan County. As the departure site of Xu Fu's eastward voyage to Japan, it boasts a history of more than 2,000 years.
In Saga Prefecture of Japan, Xu Fu is enshrined as a deity at Kanematsu Shrine, and the tradition of holding grand sacrifices to him every 50 years has been preserved to this day. As the hometown of Qiantong City, Yanshan County occupies a unique place in the history of Sino-Japanese exchanges
