The three towers stand in the western part of Xinjiang County, namely the Bell Tower, Opera Tower and Drum Tower.
The Bell Tower sits at the southernmost end. It was first constructed in the Northern Song Dynasty and renovated repeatedly in later dynasties.
Hanging in the Bell Tower is an ancient bronze bell weighing 5,000 kilograms, the oldest relic among the three towers.
The Opera Tower was originally a two-storey stage with gorgeous decorations.
The Drum Tower, the tallest building in the county, dates back to the Yuan Dynasty with a simple and elegant structure.
