Brief Introduction to the Longevity Village

Bama Longevity Village is situated in Bama Yao Autonomous County in the mountainous area of northwest Guangxi. Centenarians have lived here since ancient times. This enchanting, magical and scenic land is known as the Hometown of Longevity.

Bapan Village of Ping'an Village in Jiazhuan Township is the renowned longevity village of Bama. The hamlet has a total population of 515, among whom there are as many as 7 centenarians — nearly 200 times the international standard for a "World Hometown of Longevity".
