Daquan Lake Tourist Zone

Daquan Lake Tourist Zone represents the cream of Qingtianhe Scenic Area. It boasts the delicate beauty of a stretch of blue water as well as the marvelous scenery of deep valleys and narrow gorges. The scenic charms on both banks — lush forests, gurgling springs, graceful peaks, profound caves and enchanting mist clouds — are rarely matched elsewhere.

Stretching 7.5 kilometres long and 80 to 100 metres wide, the lake reaches a maximum depth of more than 60 metres. Here the canyon narrows down to a slit of sky above mist-shrouded waters, creating an immensely magnificent view.

Key attractions include the one-of-a-kind natural Great Wall in the world, the Nine-Turn Valley, the "Mother Teaching Her Daughter" rock formation, Crouching Eagle Cliff, Camel Peak, Standing Camel Peak, the "Inspired Writing Brush" rock, the Reclining Buddha, Hundred-Bird Nest, Pomegranate Peak, Whale Bay and Buddha Hand Cliff.
