Saihantala Mongolian Tribe

Saihantala Mongolian Tribe is located in Chaganhu Town, Qian Gorlos Mongolian Autonomous County, Songyuan City, 110 kilometres away from the county seat. Rated as a national AAA-level scenic area, it is an ideal destination for tourism, sightseeing and holidays integrating catering and entertainment.

The tribe covers a grassland area of 23 square kilometres and a construction land of 0.5 square kilometres, with a building area of 1,260 square metres. The boundless grassland fully presents the frontier scenery described in the ancient poem: "The sky stretches vast, the wilderness spreads wide; when the wind blows, grass bends to reveal cattle and sheep."

There are 23 traditional yurts and more than 80 Mongolian service staff here. The resort can receive large tourist groups of 200 to 300 people at the same time, with five professional tour guides available for visitors.

Planning and construction of the tribe started in 2004. Three distinctive ethnic zones have been completed: the sports zone, Mongolian customs zone and leisure and entertainment zone. In the sports zone, tourists can enjoy traditional Mongolian activities including horse riding, wrestling, archery and Bulu throwing.

Inside the simple and elegant yurts, hosts will present khata scarves and deji rituals to guests. Mongolian young ladies will serve authentic organic delicacies such as milk wine, boiled mutton eaten by hand, whole roasted lamb, beef jerky and mare's milk, offering visitors an immersive experience of Mongolian food culture.

The leisure and entertainment zone covered with green grass has a spacious venue for bonfire parties, where tourists can sing freely and experience the bold and unrestrained spirit of the Mongolian people.
