Qingshanwan embraces Meizhouwan on the left and Quanzhouwan on the right. It was already an important maritime trading port back in the Song and Yuan dynasties.
The seashore forms a shallow sea area within the 10-metre isobath with mostly sandy seabed. Stretching east to west and facing south, the shore slopes gently from the northwest to the southeast, with a total coastline of 13,000 metres.
The sand is clean and fine. Lush shelterbelts run for ten li, surrounding the golden beach and silver bay. It is ideal for holidays, leisure and all kinds of marine sports.
The bathing beach, still under further development, has already become a well-equipped coastal resort.
Tucked behind stretches of windbreak forests, the buildings resemble woodland cabins, creating an idyllic scene of a secluded paradise.
