One-Day Tour: Tenfu Tea Museum, Tenfu Tea College & Stone Sculpture Park
Group pickup at 10 a.m. Visit Tenfu Tea Museum, a national AAAA-level scenic spot and the world’s largest tea-themed museum (tour duration: around 3 hours). It consists of the Main Exhibition Hall, Japanese Tea Ceremony Hall, Korean Tea Etiquette Hall, Calligraphy, Painting & Rare Stone Hall and other exhibition areas. Here visitors can learn about the origin and evolution of Chinese tea and enjoy tea art performances. It is a high-grade professional tea museum with profound cultural connotations.
After lunch, tour Tenfu Tea College. Founded with an investment of 250 million RMB by Mr. Lee Jui-ho, President of Tenfu Group and hailed as the "World Tea King", the college covers a land area of 1,270 mu with a construction area of 160,000 square meters. It is the world’s first institution of higher education specializing in tea studies (tour duration: about 1 hour).
Then proceed to the world’s largest stone sculpture theme park — Migration from Tangshan to Taiwan Stone Sculpture Park (around 1 hour’s drive, 2.5 hours for sightseeing). The park narrates the historical story of Minnan ancestors who left their hometowns to reclaim wasteland in Taiwan more than 200 years ago, integrating cultural and natural landscapes together. Tourists may admire the landmark stone sculpture Pioneering and visit the Fujian-Taiwan Folk Custom Museum.
