Bridges over Haihe River

Walk along Haihe river, slowly pass by Jinwan square, you can appreciate all kinds of bridges over Haihe river built in the past and present days. Taking a boat is a nice choice to briefly view the beautiful landscape on both sides of the whole river.

Five Streets (Wudadao), Little whit buildings and Quanye plaza

Various kinds of foreign-style buildings become special scenery. These three places constitute a prosperous commercial section of Tianjin.

Tianjin Music Hall

Tianjin Music Hall is built in 1922, and its original name is Pingan Cinema. In 1956 it was simply re-structured by enlarging the stage area and re-named as Tianjin Music Hall. You can appreciate the music and performance to feel the special cultural atmosphere of Tianjin.

Ancient Culture Street

It is the place where Tianjin starts from. The street is 580m long mainly trading old books, jade ware, traditional artwork, folk products and etc. And there are also exclusive stores for folk arts including Yan Liuqing Chinese New Year Painting, Ni Ren Zhang painted sculpture, Weiji kite, Liushi brick caving and others.

Italian-style Zone

This Italian-style zone was a concession in the past. There are old residence of celebrities bars and western-style restaurants. You can surely feel the exotic style here.

Nanshi Food Street

Grey walls of several meters confine the food street into a perfect square. Two streets crossing with each other divide the street into four sections. Three-floor shops are standing alongside the street. The second floor is cut through by a platform-type ambulatory which constitute into a open and convenient service zone. The ground-floor mostly are the local delicacy shops from different cities of the whole country. It is truly a good destination to taste Tianjin food and appreciate Tianjin style.
