The tulip, which is of high ornamental value, is the national flower of Netherlands. It has been the favorite flower by the world people for its bright color and cute shape. According to Chen Zhouxian, the senior engineer of Water Park, last autumn, there were more than twenty thousands tulips planted along the water dike at the east gate of Water Park. The road is named cherry-apple road because of the large area of cherry-apple trees. The tulips are planted below the trees. It is said that the tulips are of 15 types, including Brushfield's Yellow, Eternal Love, White Lover, World Love, Butterfly Dancing, White Miracle, Ile de France, Strong Gold, and Van Eijk. What’s more, 200 peonies were planted in the peony garden. In mid-April, more than 2000 peonies will come into full blossom in the peony garden. That is really a good opportunity to enjoy the spring at Water Park.
