Set off at 7:30 am (1.5 hours' drive) to visit Dengfeng Songshan Shaolin Temple. Situated at the heart of Songshan World Geological Park, the temple is among the first batch of national 5A-level scenic spots and the birthplace of Buddhism. Later appreciate the magnificent martial arts performances of Shaolin, the classical temple architecture �C the Yard for Permanent Residence and the tombs of prestigious monks �C Forest of Stupas in Shaolin, the location where famous Kungfu movie "Shaolin Temple" was shot (for 3 hours).

At 3:00 pm go back to Luoyang for a visit to Longmen Grottoes, the world's cultural heritage and one of China's three art treasures (for 2.5 hours). And enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Yihe River and imperial stone grottoes left from Northern Wei Dynasty to Tang Dynasty. Later visit the Xiangshan Temple covered in green pines and cypresses and the grave of the great poet Bai Juyi �C White Garden until 5:00 pm.
