Hubu Alley (户部巷), the "First Street for Han Snacks," is a 150-meter-long street with a history of over one hundred years. Located in Wuchang, this street stretches from Minzhu Road to Ziyou Road. Over the years, it has come to house many famous local snacks, such as Sijimei tangbao,Jingwu duck neck, and Chenji beef noodles.
Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street (江汉路步行街) is one of the premier destinations for shopping and fine dining in Wuhan. Located in downtown Hankou, it runs from Yanjiang Avenue to Jiefang Avenue. This street, which features both upscale restaurants and night markets filled with various food stalls, is 1,600 meters long; it is very popular with the younger generations.
Jiqing Street (吉庆街) sits between Dazhi Road and Jianghan Road in Jiang'an District. Here, you can experience the nightlife as the people of Wuhan do.

Foreign delicacies from France, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India, and other countries are also available in this growing metropolis. Young people in Wuhan like the authentic flavors of the restaurants on Spanish Style Street and Italian Style Street in Optics Valley. For those interested in French food, there are many excellent restaurants at Wuhan Tiandi in Hankou and on French Street in the WEDZ in Hanyang.
The Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Indian restaurants located near some of the universities in Wuhan are quite popular. And the restaurants at Chicony, a shopping complex located beside Central China Normal University, are praised by their patrons.
