On August 12, most of the construction work of the Macrolink Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town Complex, a new tourist attraction in Wangcheng District, Changsha City was completed. And the interior decoration of the sight and transport facilities are to be completed.
A total investment of 10 billion CNY has been made to the Town. Covering an area of 3,000 mu (200 hectares), it will mainly convey the cultures of ceramics, Tang dynasty, and Huxiang culture. It was built in accordance with the standard of the National 5A Tourist Attraction. It is a large-scale comprehensive cultural and tourism town integrating culture, technology, and entertainment. The ancient town is scheduled to open on August 28.
Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town adopts the integrated ticketing system. Tourists should purchase the ticket at the entrance. The fare is 200 CNY/person on weekdays and 300 CNY/person on holidays. A 40% discount on tickets purchasing will be introduced before October 1. During the opening of the ancient town, there will be a series of celebrations, including opening ceremony, China Tourism Innovation and Development Conference, and a "Prosperous Tongguan" themed fireworks show.
The ancient town boasts many tourist attractions:
1.The Changsha Kiln National Archaeological Site Park, which boasts a history of more than 1,200 years.
2.There are 18 cultural attractions, 8 museums, and 5 performing centers.
